Flavored roasted sesame seeds are part of furikake, traditional Japanese seasonings. To make this furikake, our craftsman has selected the finest sesame seeds. Delicately roasted and coated with miso, they are then dried to restore their authentic flavors.

This drying stage is a jealously guarded secret. Miso, an indispensable seasoning for the Japanese, has been part of their history since the eighth century. A fermented food made from nutrient-rich soybeans, barley or rice, miso is associated with the taste of childhood and mother's cooking. It's renowned for its umami, a mildly addictive flavor due to its balanced taste.

These miso roasted sesame seeds surprise with their buttery, biscuity accents, and will enhance savory or sweet dishes: rice, pasta, maki, goat's cheese, mozarella, burrata, crudités, poke-bowls, grilled salmon...or even chocolate ice cream, chocolate bonbons...
